As if a minimum of $160 billion in deficits while Governor, Arnold is trying to extend his legacy of bad policies and fiscal disaster.
"The state of California Monday opened enrollment in its new pre-existing condition insurance plan, one of the first major provisions of national health care reform to take effect.
The coverage is designed to bridge the gap between now and 2014, when insurers will no longer be allowed to decline health coverage or charge higher premiums to individuals with pre-existing conditions.
The pre-existing condition insurance plan will be supported solely through federal funding and subscriber premiums. It is expected to provide health care coverage to cover up to 23,000 hard-to-insure Californians at any given time."
His plan, if it is not to create tens of billions of deficits, must have death panels, health care rationing and the end of the private health care system.
The Feds owe California billions for illegal aliens in prison, but pays California around $200 million. We pick up the tab for the Feds failures.
"In order to expand affordable health coverage to uninsured Californians with pre-existing medical conditions and implement the pre-existing condition insurance plan, Mr. Schwarzenegger also recently signed legislation creating the Federal Temporary High Risk Health Insurance Fund to receive $761 million in federal funding."
Just like illegal aliens, the Feds will pay a little, with the rest of us losing quality health care and increased taxes, just so Arnold can claim a legacy.
His legacy is a Great Depression, no respect, and deadly taxes, while killing jobs with AB 32.
He will always be able to afford the best, private health. yet he has so little respect for the rest of us, he demands we go to government for health care. Isn't Austria a socialist nation? Guess he does know any better.
