Looks like Arnold is not a fan of letting the public know the truth about government.
"A bill that would require the various foundations and other types of auxiliaries that are closely associated with California State University and the University of California to open their donation records to the public has been scuttled by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The University of California and California State University claimed Senate Bill 330 would result in a chilling effect on private donations."
Should we not know when a private donor is using government schools for their research efforts, or trying to buy support for a crazy idea? Arnold prefers secrecy in government rather than exposure--just like a Chicago politician. We are going to be the poorer for this allowance of corruption. My guess is maybe Arnold just does nto understand the issues.
