  • Democrat Tax Lies Keeping California in Great Depression

The Sacramento Democrats are liars. I can not be subtle about this. In 2009, in order to pass a massive tax increase on the people of California they agreed that some taxes will be rolled back at a certain time, and tax breaks will be instituted.

Now it is time for the roll backs and tax breaks, and the Democrats put a measure on the ballot to stop it.

"Faced with another more than $20 billion budget deficit after nearly three years of recession and continued mismanagement of state finances, the Democrat majority in the legislature now wants to repeal the corporate tax breaks, delay rolling back the income tax surcharge and increase alcohol taxes, along with a host of other proposed taxes and fee increases.

To help Democrats repeal the corporate tax breaks, the California Tax Reform Association qualified Proposition 24, originally referred to as the California Corporate Loophole Repeal Initiative or The Tax Fairness Act. The official title is Repeals Recent Legislation That Would Allow Businesses to Lower Their Tax Liability. The California Teachers Association is the main sponsor of Proposition 24 and donated $500,000 to kick-off the initiative process and pay for the pay-per-signature petition drive to collect the required signatures to qualify the initiative for the ballot. The supporters of Proposition 24 tout that it would end $1.3 billion in special tax loopholes for big corporations that do not require the creation or protection of a single job in California and would ensure that big corporations pay their fair share of state taxes at a time when the state is making drastic budget cuts to public schools, health care and public safety."

In the future, it is obvious, you can not make a deal with Democrats--they will lie, cheat and steal in order to raise taxes and harm jobs. Some may call this corrupt--except in February, 2009 they said they would do this. Just shows that Arnold was naive. If he were honest, he would put his money into the No on Prop. 24 campaign. We will see if we add the phrase dishonest to those he has already earned--ego driven, amateur and naive.

Wonder why California is in a Great Depression--our elected officials refuse, absolutely refuse to do their job.
