Government and big corporations that totally control, like the energy industry, have to lie in order to make us feel good about higher prices and higher taxes.

We started rolling out electric and gas smart meters in March of last year and we'll be finished installing them for our 1.4 million customers by the end of 2011 for all of San Diego County, said April Bolduc, public relations manager at Sempra Energy."
There is not a single instance of a smart meter saving a dime. In most places the cost of energy immediately goes up by 25-100%. Then you have the bigger lie, it will save energy. Yeah sure, a company will assign someone to watch the smart meter and when they have used "too much energy" they will close the business till the next day.
Do they really think we are idiots? This is about more tax revenues through higher energy costs. This is about government forcing poverty upon people. These are dangerous and sad times for all of us, thanks to government.
