It has been noticed that Sacramento will hold a special session, starting October 13.
Will they handle the over $20 billion deficit--or allow it to grow to $30-50 billion before admitting the crisis. In just two years the State has had a $60 billion deficit--we could hit $100 billion by Easter.
The State is dying of thirst, yet Sacramento is looking at "solutions" at least ten years away. In ten years the State will look like the Mojave.
Our schools are in trouble, yet more money will have to be cut--mostly thanks to union contracts and other sweetheart deals.
Hope against hope, the denizens of Sacramento will act responsibly and fix our fiscal crisis. Oh, the pension plans are about to implode,an $18 billion payroll tax is soon to be added to the burden of business, and much more.
Sorry, no good news about our economy.
