Yesterday my good friend, and the person I strongly support for California Republican Party chairman, announced the endorsement of GOP Senate Leader Bob Dutton.
""Over the past decade, Tom Del Beccaro has traveled the state making appearances at hundreds of events in support of Republican organizations and candidates. As a former County Central Committee Chairman and the current Vice-Chairman of the CRP, he has a proven record of bringing together grassroots activists, donors and legislators in order to more effectively communicate our Republican ideas," said Senator Dutton."
Also noted was the endorsement of GOP Assembly Leader Connie Conway.
Most of the GOP Senators and Assembly members have endorsed Tom Del Beccaro for CRP Chairman, as have the vast majority of GOP County Chairs, the California Republican Assembly, the California Federation of Republican Women and hundreds of CRP delegates and supporters.
Thankfully the Republican Party has unified behind the candidacy of Del Beccaro, noting his ability to unify all elements and segments of the California GOP. With redistricting by an impartial commission due, with Obama at the top of the ticket for the Democrats, 2012 could be our time to route the Democrats. The good news is that the CRP is now unified behind a candidate for chairman, with trust in his ability to raise money, speak for our values, create a strong grass roots effort and bring needed unity for our Party.
