I have been lucky enough to be involved in politics and public policy since 1960. During that time I have met a lot of hucksters, lying politicians and some of the most decent people you would want to meet.
John Kurzweil was one of the heroes of America--an unsung hero that most did not know. John was a great Patriot and a Christian that truly lived his religious values.
Too often we hear about someone we might have heard of pass on, then forget about--never getting to know the real person.
My good friend Bill Saracino, who I have known for more than 40 years, has written a tribute to the unsung hero, John Kurzweil. Though I do not normally send out this type of message, I do so today.
John Kurzweil is the type of person that should be a role model. He was someone that quietly promoted freedom and moral values. I want you to know about him, so you can pass on the message of his life to others--you can be honest, decent and a promoter of freedom within the political world.
Pass this on, we can make the world better--John Kurzweil did.
