PLEASE PASS THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS--LET THEM KNOW MORE ABOUT POLITICS AND PUBLIC POLICY THE FORMER MAINSTREAM MEDIA WON'T TELL. THANKS

    1. Baltimore Hands Out First Trans Fat Citation,Trans Fats Banned From Facilities In 2009, WBALTV, 10/26/10

Want to know why restaurant food is going to cost more money? Want to know why the flavor will be bland?

"The Baltimore City Health Department issued its first environmental citation for repeat violations of the city's trans fat ban.

The Health Department issued Healthy Choice, a food facility in the 400 block of Lexington Street, a $100 fine on Thursday."

Rapists, robbers, murders, political corruption rampant--but the Baltimore folks have money to fine a restaurant for cooking a meal. Good thing Arnold did not think of this! Wonder when San Fran will have cops monitor the local chili joint?

    2. This Halloween PLEASE DON'T GIVE ANY MONEY TO UNICEF !!, Yid With a Lid, 10/26/10

UNICEF has used it American money to help the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists--did you know that?

"UNICEF money goes to things like Palestinian Summer Camps that train kids to be Homicide Bombers, Production of Anti-Semitic literature, it is trying to stop inter-country adoptions of kids in Guatemalan orphanages, it has written materials praising the oppressive north Korean regime, and created anti-Semitic advertising. In short your pennies are being used to support terror and hatred."

    3. Public employee unions funnel public money to Dems, By: Michael Barone, Washington Examiner, 10/26/10

If you want to work for government, in most positions you either pay a bribe to a union or you do not work.

"Who is the largest single political contributor in the 2010 campaign cycle? You can be pardoned if you answer, erroneously, that it's some new conservative group organized by Karl Rove. That's campaign spin by the Obama Democrats, obediently relayed by certain elements of the so-called mainstream media.

The real answer is AFSCME, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. The union's president, Gerald McEntee, reports proudly that AFSCME will be contributing $87.5 million in this cycle, entirely or almost entirely to Democrats. "We're spending big," he told the Wall Street Journal. "And we're damn happy it's big."

Not a single member of this union would be allowed to work if they did not pay a bribe. This "donated" money is as corrupt as any in politics.

    4. All that hype won't sell electric cars, CNN.Com, 10/27/10

Just as government lies about the Post Office, Amtrak, Fannie and Freddie, it also lies about the auto maker it stole, Government Motors. The GM “Volt” may sell as well as the Ford Edsel.

"If you thought electric cars were about to take over the world's highways, a new report by auto analysts at J.D. Power Associates says, "Not so fast."

By 2020, the vast majority of new cars sold around the world will run on gasoline, not electricity, according to the report "Drive Green 2020: More Hope Than Reality." In ten years, just 7.3% of passenger vehicles sold globally will be hybrids or plug-in cars of some kind, the study predicts."

Would you buy a car for $41,000 that goes 25 to 37 miles on a charge, a charge that takes 4-10 hours? Or, for $26,000 will you buy a Prius that gets 50 mpg? Oh, I do drive a Prius and love it.

    5. Capital Goods Orders Decrease as Investment Cools, By Shobhana Chandra and Bob Willis, Bloomberg, 10/27/10
    ,
This is more proof of an Obama caused Depression. Disruption of the health care system, high taxes going higher, regulations to kill bank loans, deficits of trillions for at least the next ten years--all of this means business in America is not good. So, with higher taxes coming in 65 days, health care costs increasing, regulations killing jobs, of course business will not expand or buy new machinery.

"Bookings for capital goods fell in September, signaling a slowdown in U.S. business investment that gives the Federal Reserve more reason to ease policy next week.

Non-military orders for equipment like computers and machinery meant to last at least three years and excluding airplanes dropped 0.6 percent after a 4.8 percent gain in August that was smaller than previously estimated, figures from Commerce Department showed today in Washington. Another report showed sales of new houses hovered near a record low last month."
