How corrupt are the propositions on the ballot this year?
Here is an example:
"PULL: Proposition 21 is a motor vehicle registration increase that is necessary to preserve our cherished state parks and wildlife conservation programs.
TRANSLATION: We’re diverting the money that we should already be spending on our cherished state parks and wildlife conservation programs to perks, pensions and salaries of a bloated state public sector workforce that refuses to let go of unsustainable benefits granted during the Gray Davis administration."
Government theft rewarded by higher fees!! That is how government works.
The you have the effort to stop real evil.
"PULL: Proposition 26 will hurt our police officers, firefighters, teachers and nurses because it will lead to underfunding from our state budget.
TRANSLATION: Anyone with a basic understanding of math and common sense knows that we’ll see more “fees” added to the taxpayer burden if we make it easier to raise “fees” than we do taxes (aren’t they both essentially the same thing?), and raising the fee-raising threshold to the same two-thirds level for raising taxes will be needed to confront and address the perks, pensions and salaries of a bloated state public sector workforce that refuses to let go of unsustainable benefits granted during the Gray Davis administration."
