Great news from a liberal university.
"The University of Illinois Board of Trustees, in a unanimous vote led by Christopher Kennedy, a Chicago businessman and chairman of the university trustees, and the son of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, has denied the former terrorist turned radical educator Bill Ayers emeritus status. And Ayers' fellow faculty members may protest the decision.
The title of emeritus professor is an honorary position and would allow Ayers to use some university facilities, including the library. Ayers, a leader of the violent Weather Underground, began teaching at the university after years of living the life of a fugitive. He retired from his university post on August 31."
But why? Good reason.
"Kennedy and members of the board told the news media that they did not want to honor a man who dedicated a book to his father's killer. "Prairie Fire," published by Weather Underground in 1974, was dedicated to more than 200 people, including RFK's assassin Sirhan Sirhan, who was described by Ayers as a political prisoner."

He still believes he should have bombed more. Oh, his wife is the infamous Bernardine Dohrn, who did go to jail for lots of bombings.
These are the people who were neighbors of BO. BO and Ayres served together on Board of Directors--they baby sat the Obama children.
