How stupid is government? California has laws do not allow volunteers from other States to come here and provide free medical services.

But that has now changed. "Remote Area Medical founder Stan Brock said in an interview Monday that hes delighted that Schwarzenegger signed a law similar to those in Tennessee, Oklahoma and Illinois.
Anything that allows [health care workers] to cross state lines to provide free care is a quantum leap in the right direction, Brock said.
The bill looked like it was headed for failure in August when it was placed in a suspense file, which is usually a graveyard for failed measures. But it came out and passed despite objections from the California Nurses Association."
Notice it was a UNION that stopped free medical services. Who says that unions are good for children or other living things? Want problems, corruption, and extortion? Find a union.
