"Jose Reyes Ferriz, mayor of Ciudad Juarez, said Mexican border mayors are asking U.S. officials to stem the deportation of convicts to their communities.
Of 80,000 people deported to Ciudad Juarez in the past three years, 28,000 had U.S. criminal records, he said including 7,000 who had served time for rape and 2,000 convicted of murder."

2. Winners and Losers in Reapportionment, By MONICA DAVEY, NY Times, 9/27/10 Good news! The 2012 Congressional redistricting will give GOP states 12 more member of Congress--Democrat States will lose 12. And, of the losing States, eight will have GOP governors.
2012 could see the GOP pick up at least 15 more seats, just through the redistricting process---something to look forward to, don't you think?
3. Christie Announces Sweeping N.J. Education Reform, NYCBS, 9/28/10 Chris Christie must hate teachers. This new Guv wants teachers in k-5 to pass reading and math tests--how harsh, forcing union teachers already paying bribes to work, to prove themselves in reading and math--aren't the bribes enough proof?
"Determined to turn New Jerseys education system on its head, Gov. Chris Christie on Tuesday unveiled a tough-love reform package that will make classroom achievement not seniority or tenure the basis for pay hikes and career advancement in Garden State public schools.
Christie is turning his take-no-prisoners style to the classroom, demanding a top to bottom overhaul of how New Jersey students learn and teachers teach. And that means undoing tenure, seniority and other union work rules."
A better idea is to close all the government schools, sell them to the teachers, then reopen them with vouchers--and no one has to pay a bribe to work.

"President Obama expounded Tuesday on the reasons he became a Christian as an adult, telling a group of residents here that he was a Christian by choice and that the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead being my brother and sisters keeper.
He wants to be his brothers keeper--but his brother lives in a mud hut in poverty and his Aunt was an illegal alien in this nation till, recently, ICE gave her sanctuary and legalized her--but she is living in poverty in Boston. If Barack wants us to help the world, should he not, as a Christian first take care of his family? Just asking.

Just like the "scientific" fraud of Al Gore and his money making "global warming" scam, the species scam has been exposed.
"Conservationists are overestimating the number of species that have been driven to extinction, scientists have said.
A study has found that a third of all mammal species declared extinct in the past few centuries have turned up alive and well.
Some of the more reclusive creatures managed to hide from sight for 80 years only to reappear within four years of being officially named extinct in the wild."
Jobs have been lost, homes and private property lost, massive economic dislocation, students in government schools lied to by experts and teachers--all part of the cost of this new "scientific" fraud.
