2. Maine congresswomans use of private jet stinks of hypocrisy, may have violated House rules, By Alexis Levinson , The Daily Caller, 09/24/2010
Here is yet another Democrat Member of Congress found violating the rules of the House. Looks like the Pelosi House has not drained the swamp. Instead a flood of corruption the size of the Katrina flood is making its' way to the public.
"Maine Watchdog recently posted a video of Maine Democratic Rep. Chellie Pingree disembarking from a private jet owned by her boyfriend S. Donald Sussmans hedge fund. While some may simply be inclined to just submit to jealousy while admiring her pragmatic taste in men, if Maine Watchdogs allegations prove true, Pingree may have not only acted hypocritically, but violated House rules.
Just four years ago, as president of the lobbying group Common Cause, Pingree testified in front of Congress in the wake of the Jack Abramoff scandal about the need for lobbying reform legislation to restore confidence in Congress. Specifically, she said, representatives should not be permitted to fly on corporate private jets:

3. ACORN Spinoff Smacked Down by HUD Inspector General, by Connie Hair, Human Events, 09/24/2010
ACORN, was, is and will always be corrupt. Yet, it still has not answered for tens of millions of dollars of tax money given it to help the poor.

For continued approval as a HUD-approved housing counseling agency and for future awards consideration, AHC (now operating as AHCOA) must bring its operations into full compliance with applicable laws, regulators, and policies governing HUDs Housing Counseling Program, the OIGs report recommends. The inability to fully support salary expenses allocated to the HUD grant raises serious concerns about the integrity of those charges, particularly given the millions of Federal and non-Federal dollars made available to AHC in FY 2008 and 2009. Further, services procured from ACORN associated organizations failed to meet the required tests of open and free competition. We recommend that HUDs Office of Single Family Housing, Program Support Division consider placing AHCOA in inactive status while its initiatives corrective actions to address the exceptions and recommendations in this report.
Who is going to jail? Oh, I forgot, Obama once worked for this organization, they are protected.
4. To Protect State Secrets, Pentagon Buys and Destroys Book, abc news, 9/25/10
Barack Obama, not conservatives, is a book burner. Worse, he is using YOUR money, dollars meant for national defense.
"The Pentagon has purchased and arranged for the destruction of 9,500 copies of a book so it can protect classified information it contains."
Of course ALL the information in the book is already publicly available, so the burning will only hurt the climate, not public knowledge.
I do not know of any other time when the White House has ordered a book burning and with tax dollars. I am shocked the ACLU and Progressives have been quiet--maybe they DO like book burnings after all?
5. Local Tea Party group may have uncovered massive vote fraud in Texas, Washington Examiner, 9/26/10: An SEIU operative was caught filing over 23,000 (not a typo) fraudulent voter registrations. This was found not by government but a Tea Party group in Houston. My guess is that 2011 will see lots of Tea Party groups doing the same in their counties. This could be the biggest fraud case in the history of the nation. Between ACORN and its associate, SEIU, possibly one million illegal registrations have been done in the past four years.
"Most of the findings focused on a group called Houston Votes, a voter registration group headed by Steve Caddle, who also works for the Service Employees International Union. Among the findings were that only 1,793 of the 25,000 registrations the group submitted appeared to be valid. The other registrations included one of a woman who registered six times in the same day; registrations of non-citizens; so many applications from one Houston Voters collector in one day that it was deemed to be beyond human capability; and 1,597 registrations that named the same person multiple times, often with different signatures."
