The city LA of Los Angeles wants local firms to only hire LA residents.
"The proposed ordinance would give businesses a $1,000 to $5,000 tax credit against the city's business tax for every Los Angeles resident they hire."
Here is the problem. If an illegal alien shows a rent stub, a power company bill, they qualify for an employer to get the tax credit.
What a great way to promote illegal aliens, with the tax dollars of honest workers and business owners.
This needs to be stopped.
Oh, did I mention that Los Angeles has a deficit of over $500 million, this year? And, that in two years the deficit will reach one billion dollars. Or, that by 2015 one third of all its' revenues will go to pay for pensions?
Yet Phony Tony wants to protect and promote illegal aliens with tax dollars. Obviously, even with the deficit, LA has too much money.
