PLEASE PASS THIS TO YOUR FRIENDS--LET THEM KNOW MORE ABOUT POLITICS AND PUBLIC POLICY THE FORMER MAINSTREAM MEDIA WON'T TELL. THANKS
1. GM Resumes Political Giving, Wall Street Journal, 9/23/10 General Motors is owned by the government and unions.
General Motors is donating money to candidates, mostly Democrats.
General Motors is using tax dollars--we own the place--to donate to Democrats
Will the Attorney General stop this use of taxpayer money given to friends of Barack?
Want corruption, look at the Obama Administration.
2. New Jersey Planned Parenthood Abortion Biz Closes After Christie Cuts Funds, LifeNews.com, 9/21/10 Gov. Chris Christie vetoes $7.9 million of tax funds going to or organization who has the purpose of aborting babies. Nothing productive--just death.
If government has enough money to abort babies, it should have enough money for cops, teachers and basic government services, without raising taxes. What do you think?
3. Examiner Editorial: Obamacare is even worse than critics thought, Washington Examiner, 9/23/10
Guess what? Thanks to President Obama and the Democrats the cost of health care has gone up, not down. Death panels have already ruled that life saving drugs for breast cancer victims will no longer be allowed.
Children can no longer get individual insurance.
"Obamacare won't allow employees or most small businesses to keep the coverage they have and like. By Obama's estimates, as many as 69 percent of employees, 80 percent of small businesses, and 64 percent of large businesses will be forced to change coverage, probably to more expensive plans."
How many people will die and jobs lost thanks to the totalitarian instincts of Obama?
4. U.S. Education Secretary Vows to Make American Children 'Good Environmental Citizens' , CNSNEWS.com, 9/23/10 Our Education Secretary sounds like Castro, Stalin or anyone of numerous dictators.
"U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan vowed on Tuesday that his department would work to make American children into "good environmental citizens" through federally subsidized school programs beginning as early as kindergarten that teach children about climate change and prepare them "to contribute to the workforce through green jobs."
Sounds more like Al Gore Syndrome (AGS) is working than an educator. Whatever happened to teaching kids to read, do math, understand history, instead of using government schools as propaganda factories.
5. Ethics panel struggling to set trial dates, By Susan Crabtree, The Hill, 09/23/10 Crooked Democrats Maxine Waters and Charlie Rangel are trying hard not to embarrass their Democrat colleagues any more than needed. They already broke the law--now the next step is the trial.
San Fran Nan (Pelosi) wants to wait till after November 2 to hold the trials--so the corruption of Democrats will not be front page, above the fold of the daily newspapers.
"The ethics committee is struggling to come up with a schedule for the public trials of Reps. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) and Maxine Waters (D-Calif.). After separate investigations, the panel charged Rangel and Waters with violating House rules. Both rebuffed attempts to negotiate punishments, choosing to opt for public trials of the charges against them. Watchdogs are expecting those trials to take place after the elections so the ethics committee can avoid any accusations of politicizing the ethics process."
Why not a speedy trial? Waiting is political--but the Democrats will not be able to hide this from the public.
