My guess is that adjourning this early, San Fran Nan avoids a vote, that she will lose, on ending the Bush tax cuts completely. There are now enough Democrat votes to CONTINUE the Bush tax cuts.
Thank to Pelosi that appears to be a dead issue, as is the American economy.
Next, the lame duck session of the Congress--will it be Pelosi trying burn down the Union?
Sadly, President Obama is still in the White House, with lots of paper for Executive Orders and agencies of government to mess with our freedoms and the Constitution.
