Rod Wright claims to be a moderate Democrat--yet he is as crooked as Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, Richard Alarcon and dozens of other who lie, openly, while in office.
Yes, he is an NRA vote on guns. Yes, he sometimes votes against higher taxes.. But.
"Given the Times story, that isn’t too surprising. Wright listed as his residence a home in the district he wanted to represent, but county authorities allege that he did not live there, the Times reported. The indictment comes almost a year from the day in 2009 when authorities searched two homes owned by Wright, one in Inglewood, in the 25th Senate District that he was elected to represent in 2008, and the other in Baldwin Hills, in the neighboring 26th District."
We have to live up to the letter of the law--Democrats do not--Rod Wright is proof of that arrogance. Let’s look into all elected officials and see if they abide by the residents rule to rule for office. GOP'ers and Democrats, then decide if they should have an office in city hall or the Capitol, or a room at the Gray Bar Hotel.
