Bakersfield police have determined that the safety of the community is more important that racial profiling.
"A task force of 100 officers swooped down Friday morning on a primarily Hispanic street gang based in east Bakersfield, making 11 arrests and seizing guns and drugs, the Kern County Sheriff's Department announced.
Armed with 10 search warrants and six arrest warrants, the officers went from home to home to try to disrupt criminal activities of the gang such as violent assaults, drug trafficking and sales, grand theft and selling stolen property, deputies reported.
The operation was based on four months of investigation by the sheriff's Gang Suppression Section, which was aided by the Kern County District Attorney's staff and the local FBI."
Law enforcement, including Obama's FBI went after Hispanic criminals--is that legal?
I am glad that the Bakersfield police are more concerned about stopping crime then the color of the skin of the criminal. Wonder how many FBI agents will now be shipped to Anchorage or North Dakota for doing their job?
