Last week I reported on a Sacramento area firm that is moving 901 jobs to India and Uruguay.
Today, I am reporting on 550 jobs going to Oklahoma. Never heard about this? Of course not--California media and politicians are pretending this is not happening.
"The Boeing Company says it is relocating two programs from Long Beach, Calif., to Oklahoma City, a move expected to bring 550 engineering jobs to the state ", from TV 9 (Oklahoma) I found this on the web site of an OKLAHOMA TV STATION--not a California media source.
"A big announcement was made Monday afternoon. Boeing has made plans to move to Oklahoma and is bringing in more than 550 new jobs. It's a move many say will have a tremendous impact on the local economy with hundreds of technical, high-paying jobs. The announcement was just made, but Boeing is already placing its name on its newly-acquired property, a welcome sign to many people who heard the news.
"More jobs are needed in this economy," Jeanene Barnes said. "I don't understand how politicos believe that we're starting to upswing when so many jobs are desperately needed.” That we're starting to upswing when so many jobs are desperately needed."
