Do you really think that Arnold issuing a "proclamation" will sell wine, make people MORE aware of disasters or cancer?
His job is to pass a budget, not tell us "prostate cancer" is a bad thing.
September is only 4 days old and he has issued TEN "Month" proclamations.
My favorite, using tax dollars, staff and government assets: "09/01/10 September 2010, as California Ripe Olive Month.
We have Prop. 19 on the ballot, to assure the legalization of using drugs. Yet Arnold issued this Proclamation:
"09/01/10 September 2010, as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
Imagine how important that proclamation will be if Prop. 19 passes.
Arnold needs to remember he is the Governor and we need a budget, not a Hollywood publicity hack. Can you put a ripe olive in a martini? Thanks to Arnold we all need a drink.
