  • California Losing LOTS of Jobs to Utah

Utah is quickly becoming the home to thousands of California hi tech employees.

Adobe is creating 1,000 jobs in Utah. "Governor Gary R. Herbert announced today that Adobe Systems Incorporated plans to build a new technology campus in Utah, a decision that could potentially create up to 1,000 new high-tech jobs in the State over the next 20 years."

But this is just the tip of the iceberg. From the Sacramento Bee,

"Utah's other notable California pickups of late include:

San Francisco-based social networking company Twitter Inc. announced last month that it will move its data center to Salt Lake City. Twitter did not disclose potential job numbers but did say it would hire locally.

Redwood City-based Electronic Arts Inc. opened a new 20,000-square-foot facility in Salt Lake City in July, initially housing some 100 employees to contribute to the firm's video game empire.

In May, San Jose-based eBay Inc. detailed plans for its $287 million data center outside Salt Lake City. The massive facility will be the primary overseer of eBay's website, with millions of users and accounts. Hundreds of jobs are expected to be filled.

Redwood Shores-based software firm Oracle Corp. announced in May that it was resuming construction on a large data center in the Salt Lake City suburb of West Jordan. The 180,000-square-foot facility reportedly represents a $285 million capital investment and initially will employ about 100.

Get the picture? Even liberals understand they can no longer afford California regulations, taxes and fees. Utah is a stable State, California is operating on radical ideology.

Where you would invest? The dollars say Utah. Only 145 days and counting--but will a new Governor be able to save the State?
