  • Government Facilities Are Good for Something

Government buildings and properties can be sold and something productive can be done with them.

"While the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) examines potential buyers for its Midway Processing and Distribution Facility in Point Loma, a local nonprofit group known as Amikas sees a direction for the facility that could also help with local homelessness issues.

Amikas officials are submitting a proposal to turn the 436,000-square-foot building into a sustainable neighborhood for the homeless."

We should be down sizing government, not expanding it--the families of California and America can no longer afford the Obama/Arnold explosion of government.

Plus we need to put the property back on the property tax rolls. What government facility would you sell?

As for me, the United Nations building would be a great condo or location of homeless services and housing.
