  • Arnold: California is NOT Business Friendly--Look in Mirror

The Governor was hoping to buy a salad from a new chain, to California, "The Salad Bowl". But it could not open.

"But government was blocking him at every turn.

He had all these different inspectors abusing the permitting process.

As a matter of fact, I have gone into this shop many times.

And I said, when are you guys going to open up?

They said, well, we are still dealing with all the different permits.

He was dealing with mechanical inspectors, safety inspectors, health inspectors, building inspectors and the list goes on and on.

And the interesting thing is, none were on the same page."

What the Guv did not mention is that because of a government caused water shortage the cost of food would be higher.

He did not mention that because of AB 32 and SB 375 the cost of transporting food and the harvesting of food in California is higher. Arnold does not mention that high income and sales taxes makes it harder for people to go to restaurants. He is right that local government is difficult, but does not mention that local government must abide by AB 32 and SB 375 regulations, making it more difficult for local governments to approve anything.

Like Obama, Arnold prefers to blame others and refuses to look in the mirror.
