Arnold and the Democrats must be busting their buttons today. Imperial County is the number one county in America for unemployment.
"The El Centro metropolitan area had 27.6 percent unemployment in June, while Yuma followed with 26.4 percent, according to the data. Of the 12 highest jobless rates, 10 were in California, which had an average of 12.2 percent."
Can not do better than that, ten of the twelve worst counties for jobs in the whole nation are in California.
Don’t blame the Feds for this--blame Sacramento and its policies. Highest taxes in the nation, 40% drop out rate in government schools, courts that give our water to the delta smelt instead of farmers and businesses. Then we have the gigantic job killer of all time, the Arnold promoted AB 32.
What are the results? "The 42-year-old part-time El Centro resident has been looking and looking for jobs in the area but cant find anything, he said.
There are no new companies coming down here, and that’s exactly what we need, he said."
Why would any business expand or build in California, without government subsidies.
California has committed economic suicide--time for the eulogy.
