Salinas apparently has decided that it wants to be number one is something, even if it is a negative.
The headline says it all, "Two Salinas teens killed in 13 hours". "In the first seven months of 2009, the city saw 16 killings. Salinas saw a record 29 homicides all gang-related in 2009.
Note the article does not mention the name of the gangs.
Wonder if this is about illegal aliens? What do you think?
