The June 8, 2010 California primary had only 33.3%voter turnout.
Of that, 57.9% voted by absentee ballot--in the 2008 primary we had 58% vote by absentee ballot turnout.
LA County had only a 23.5% voter turnout.
Guess Californians really did not think it was an important election. Hopefully that will change on November 2--though at this point I believe our turnout will be on the low end.
