What does the openly corrupt, ACORN partner SEIU want?
"Service Employees International Union Local 1000, which represents about 95,000 state workers, unveiled a new contract proposal this week. The union's last contract expired in 2008. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the union agreed on a deal last year, but the Legislature never ratified the contract.
The union's latest proposal is remarkably out of touch with state finances, however. SEIU 1000 offers a one-year pay cut of 4.6 percent -- in return for eight additional hours of leave each month. And the union wants 5 percent pay hikes in 2012 and 2015."
They want guaranteed wages. A better idea--out source to private for profit industries the janitorial services--saves the State money, but the SEIU loses 15,000 people paying them bribes. Then out source security guards--maybe another 5,000 loss of bribe payers. Little by little we cut back the size of government and the size of unions holding the people of California hostage.
Instead of wage increases give the SEIU cut backs. If they strike, consider that a resignation.
