  • Water bond?s ripples awash in the Capitol

Arnold does not want the water bond on the November ballot, because the pork laden bill would lose.

Maybe we should put it on the 2010 ballot and let it lose, big.

That may be the way to show Sacramento corruption no longer pays. This bond is a sop to the unions, special interests and the corrupt Sacramento climate.

"They had to bite hard on certain things. I know I did, said Assemblyman Jim Nielsen, R-Gerber.

Assemblyman Jared Huffman, D-San Rafael, agreed. There was a very tough set of issues. There were many legislators, myself included, who voted for this very reluctantly as part of a series of important compromises.

They knew it was wrong and did it anyway. This was NOT a compromise it was a pork sandwich. Defeat this loser and show those left in the Capitol they are next if they continue to abuse the people of this State.
