  • One Sided Study-time is NO Value to This special interest

Special interests love to spend money to lie by omission to the public.

    1. Note this "study" was done by special interest--American Public Transportation Association . From their web site:
    "Mission Statement
To strengthen and improve public transportation, APTA serves and leads its diverse membership through advocacy, innovation and information sharing. APTA and its members and staff work to ensure that public transportation is available and accessible for all Americans in communities across the country.",

    2. While it shows the money saved by not using a private car, it does not count the loss of money from the loss of time. Do you really think someone who lives in La Jolla, works in downtown San Diego, has to go to La Mesa for a meeting, Escondido for lunch, and San Juan Capistrano to meet with bankers could do all that in one day using government transportation?

How does government save you money? "The APTA calculated the savings by comparing the cost of a monthly public transit pass to the average cost of driving, which includes the price of gas on July 7, maintenance, insurance, registration, vehicle depreciation and finance charges."

How does government lose jobs? By heavy taxation for money losing government transportation and putting the worker on a train instead of in the office. Special interests do not have your interests at heart.
