  • Union Strike Threatens Safety of Los Angeles Citizens

If I were Phony Tony, I would have accepted the mass resignations of the corrupt union members.

"Nearly three dozen emergency 911 operators staged a wildcat sickout Thursday at the Metropolitan and West Hills 911 call centers, causing the Los Angeles Police Department to have administrators and other personnel work their shifts.

The sickout to protest furloughs and pay cuts was confined to operators who field emergency calls for the LAPD, officials said. The fire department has its own operators."

Failure to show up for work is NOT a sickout, it is quitting.

Just as bad is the juvenile reporting of this by the LA Times. Note that not once does the sophomore, obviously, reporter, tell the name of the union involved or even tell the public this was a union operation.

Why? Because this might get the public to understand that bribe paying workers owe their allegiance to a corrupt union (anybody that demands bribes before people can work is by definition is corrupt) not the people of Los Angeles, who pay their wages.
