Why are we losing the export race? Democrats do not like competition, in anything.
"An advertisement in todays Capitol Morning Report from Sacramento City Councilman Kevin McCarty, requests parent volunteers to help coach non-competitive kids soccer. Unfortunately, this typifies Councilman McCartys brand of politics.
Non-competitive sports? Is that anything like non-competitive chess? Or a non-competitive game of Monopoly? Is there a non-competitive hockey league in America? Didnt McCarty run a campaign for state Assembly recently? Did he win or lose, or will he share Roger Niellos old seat with opponent Roger Dickinson so that no one is a loser?"
Competition is why Ford beat GM. Competition is why the Lakers beat the Celtics. Competition is why Verizon is considered better than Sprint. It is also about freedom--something that scares the Democrats. Freedom to the job you want, the energy source you want, the health care you want, the education you want.
Democrats prefer monopolies--like unions, then freedom. And look how well unions have done for the Steel industry, government, GM or just about any firm unions get their hooks into.
Competition succeeds. Monopolies, non competition, is failure.
