  • Phony Tony Takes BOTH Sides of a Tax Issue

How corrupt is the Mayor of Los Angeles? And I am not talking about the tens of thousands of dollars worth of tickets to Dodgers and Lakers games.

"Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said Monday that he is not inclined to support a measure on the November ballot aimed at protecting funds for local government."

Yet previously he had supported this measure.

Bottom line, Phony Tony supports the State of California, Sacramento, in its efforts to steal tax money from the City of Los Angels.

Who does he represent, the people of Los Angeles, or his cousin, the tax theft Speaker of the State Assembly?

It is true; blood is thicker than honest government.

Oh, he also lies when he says he had never seen or read the ballot measure. This from the Sacramento Bee:

"Yet he was one of nine big-city mayors to have signed a letter in March expressing support for the ballot proposal. Proposition 22 would prevent the state from borrowing or taking money from local government accounts, a response to a budget decision last year to borrow $2 billion from local governments and take $1.7 billion from local redevelopment agencies.

So he signs a letter in SUPPORT of stopping this theft, now he opposes it AND say he never read it.

How corrupt is Phony Tony? Maybe he thinks he is John Kerry?
