  • Deficit Ridden Cities Save $$: Cities turn to private sector

Maywood is turning everything over to out sourcing and contracts.

Want to save money? You get rid of union owned jobs and give them to folks NOT paying bribes.

"Colton's anniversary celebration, typically paid for by taxpayers through the city General Fund, has been cut from the budget to save money.

But the party hasn't been canceled. It will go on as usual thanks to nearly $30,000 in private donations that will pay for the July 10 festivities at Colton High School's football stadium, which start at 7 p.m. and includes a fireworks extravaganza at 9 p.m."

Why do cities run stadiums, convention centers, or the State run the DMV?

Why do we have so many school districts and many levels of failed professional educators, from the local district to the Governors office?

Let the cities provide police and fire protection, and churches and non profits the welfare systems, libraries, and for profits stadiums, cultural centers, etc.

Return government to its real priorities and we will get out of the fiscal collapse we are experiencing.
