  • Attorney general's office questions legality of Assembly budget plan of Democrats

Does anybody believe the Sacramento Democrats are honest? Along with the Governor they have created $140 billion in deficits in six years. They have stolen money from trust funds.

The good news about the Attorney General running for Governor is that he has to look like he is honest.

"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger declared the plan illegal earlier this week, citing Proposition 58, a ballot measure he championed in his first year in office that prohibits borrowing to fund a year-end state budget deficit.

Constance LeLouis, a deputy in Browns office, wrote that the Democrats plan, which calls for borrowing $9 billion from the states bottle deposits fund to be repaid with a new tax on oil extraction, could be suspect in court. Specifically, Schwarzenegger asked the attorney general if he could provide unqualified approving opinion of the plan. LeLouis said the office could not, taking a conservative approach.

We conclude that a court could reasonably determine that the proposed transaction violates Proposition 58, she wrote."

Actually, his office has lost so many lawsuits, caused by the Governor and Sacramento Democrats, based on money stolen from Trust Accounts, violations of State and Federal laws in the furloughing of workers, the State is $6.6 billion MORE in deficit/debt--which the Governor REFUSES to note in his budget.

Why is California staying in a Great Depression? Corruption by Sacramento Democrats and the Governor, found guilty by courts and they continue to try to steal money from Trust Accounts.

Shame on us for allowing any of this.
