What a sight it must be. "Rent a mob" unionists holding strike signs in front of a county club--as if anybody cares.
Look, these folks are getting paid to hold those signs--they are not volunteers.
"About 60 members of Unite Here Local 2850, plus Assembly members Tom Torlakson (D-Martinez) and Nancy Skinner (D-Berkeley), toted signs and chanted "Castlewood, you're no good" at an entrance to the historic Castlewood Country Club.
A lock out is because a union is harming the operation of a business--and the business has little choice but to keep the troublemakers out.
Beyond the gates, the club was hosting the 51st annual Men's Invitational golf tournament.
"The lockout is cruel and cold-hearted and unjust," Torlakson said. "These workers, some of whom have been loyal here for 15 or 20 years, have been mistreated terribly."
This apologizer for extortionists is right, these workers have been mistreated for 15-20 years. For all time, if they wanted to work they had to pay a bribe to a union. Torlakson wants to be the chief educator in California--instead, he is just a cheap thug, working for expensive thugs-0-what a lesson to teach our children--either pay a bribe or you do not work.
