Women sneak into the United States so their babies can be born in the ONLY nation that mandates, born here, you are a citizen. These are called anchor babies. Then when the mothers and fathers are caught and to be shipped back, then cry that our government is taking away their children. That is a lie.
Actually, these criminals, trying to use the goodwill of our nation are abandoning their children--they can be taken with them to their native land.

But that was 1868. Today, Pearce says the 14th Amendment has been "hijacked" by illegal immigrants."
Time magazine, like most newspapers are barely hanging on. Few readers, fewer advertisers, only the craziest of statements get quoted--it is as creditable as the National Enquirer.
While this article makes fun of those challenging illegal aliens theft of American citizenship", it will happen. The challenge will go forward.
I support our Constitution--the 14th Amendment was about freed slaves, not criminals from other countries abusing our sensibilities.
