  • Teacher Unions Killing Government School Programs and Maintenance

Teacher unions have won a victory for their bribe paying members. "Maintenance, instructional materials and district administrative costs were the top three casualties as school districts trimmed millions, according to a statewide survey tracking where schools cut the most. The survey was released Thursday by the California Department of Education."

Maybe if everybody was treated equally, and unions were treated like a Rotary or African Violet Club, maybe the students would have a chance at better education.

There is a TV ad by Taco Bell--they want you to donate $1 to something, they are never specific what the group is or does, to assure that a student graduates. According to the ad, one third of students fail to graduate.

Could this be the reason? If Government Motors made cars that failed one third of the time, would anybody buy a GM vehicle?

This is sick--one third on average drop out--LAUSD has a 50% failure rate--and we continue to act as if giving the mediocre administrators money it would make a difference.

When will we demand success, not union failure?

These are our children they deserve better than government education. Or do they? We certainly act as if we do not care.
