My good friend Tom Elias writes the, "The other 11 on the Kelso list sit in prison facilities and cost the state "only" $114,000 per year each. A classic example of an inmate like this was Susan Denise Atkins, who died of cancer last year in the California Institution for Women at Chino. Atkins, a onetime follower of murderous cult leader Charles Manson who inflicted multiple stabbings upon Leno and Rosemary LaBianca in 1969, had become a model prisoner before she became terminal."
he misses the point--use the Obama/Berwick plan and refuse to give costly health care to the mass murderer, Susan Atkins. She was too old, a model prisoner, who loved to kill. Why not use Obamacare on her--instead of honest, decent people in California?
The way to solve the problem of health care in California prisoners is simple--put Obama and Berwick in charge--we will save millions each year and have fewer prisoners.
