Instead of taking on the use of the First Amendment, today’s editorial is in opposition of the Second Amendment. "Supporters of the "open carry movement" are proving to be their own worst enemies. What happens when the Obama Administration starts a call for an "Office of Responsible Journalism" and considers support of tax cuts treasonous?
A newspaper can not pick and choose which parts of the Constitution should be allowed and which needs to end.
Someone should tell the whacky editors of the Chronicle that when seconds count, the police are just minutes away. Even Leftists Democrat Dianne Feinstein understands this--she carries a gun in her purse!
