How will California government get through the summer? "California is expected to be able to continue paying all its bills through the summer, relying on deferred payments and billions in internal borrowing, state Controller John Chiang said in a letter Wednesday to top lawmakers and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger."
We have north of $800 billion in debt and unfunded liabilities--and the State wants to borrow even more money--at very high interest rates.
Stop the borrowing, stop the gimmicks, stop AB 32 which is killing jobs and revenues. We need honest government in Sacramento.
That will happen because of the people--not those career politicians who know only one thing--taxes.
Do not support those who created this deficit borrowing--Republican or Democrat. The good news? Seven months and counting. We need to make sure that the new budget is responsible--one more fraud like the last five budgets will collapse the State government. To many, that is a good idea.
