Yesterday I received an email from a good friend altering to me to more corruption in LAUSD.
This government school district is promoting a parcel tax of over $500 million.
They are doing commercials--"advocacy commercials" They tell what will happen if this does not pass--the sky will fall and schools be be worse--that said in a district that already has a 50% drop out rate.
My friend, Scott Schmidt, then noted, "This morning I got suspicious at a barrage of ads promoting Measure E--asking people to "VOTE ON Measure E" but not "for" it. The ads have no disclosure and do not say who is paying for them. See the YouTube ad here. The Spanish Language version, however has a disclaimer (in English) admitting that it is LAUSD which is paying for the ads."
Since this became public, the ads had the disclaimer taken off.
How do you spell corruption? LAUSD
First they waste money, then they promote illegal aliens to steal money from honest parents and students. At that point they use money meant for textbooks to promote higher taxes--so the parents of the students could become poorer.
Imagine LAUSD with 200,000 less students--200,000 less illegal aliens--the parcel tax would not be needed.
How does the Obama Administration Department of Homeland Insecurity harm you? Look at the children in LAUSD. Wonder how many illegal aliens will be voting for this measure based on the ads in Spanish? Stop the stupid looks, we all know that illegal aliens vote--not all of them--but many do.
LAUSD needs a good cleaning out--by a District Attorney willing to close down that hornets nest of corruption. Including the use of tax dollars to steal more tax dollars.
