  • Recommendations for June 8 From Steve Frank

These are my personal recommendations for the June 8 primary. In the newsletter sent a little while ago I left off the United States Senate race. Here it is:

UNITED STATES SENATE Assemblyman Chuck DeVore. Tom Campbell created the deficit budgets for the Governor and STILL supports raising the gas tax by 32 cents a gallon, along with increasing other taxes. Campbell, like Obama, prefers the State of israel allow terrorists a place in government--crazy!! Fiorina is on the right side of most issues, but very little public policy or political experience. DeVore is an articulate spokesman for Constitutional government, and his voting recordproves it is more than words.

First, vote NO on all tax increases, fee increases, bonds, and parcel taxes--anything that gives government more money. Government in California is incompetent, corrupt, and will spend whatever, and more, that you give it. In San Fran they are using a million dollars of bond money for sculptures, in a shipyard. LAUSD has a 50% failure rate, drop outs--yet promotes illegal aliens and is run by the unions.

Vote No on all bonds and taxes--government has more than enough money to do the basics.

    GOVERNOR Steve Poizner.

He wants tax cuts for everybody; his opponent wants tax cuts for the special interests and big corporations. She opposes the Arizona law, hence, supports illegal aliens (in her own words she wants illegal’s to pay a fine, then go to the back of the citizenship line--she wants to reward criminals) (disclosure--I am working for Poizner professionally)

LT. GOVERNOR State Senator Sam Aanestad--solid anti tax, anti-illegal alien legislator--unlike his opponent who votes for high taxes, promotes illegal aliens and wants to do away from honest elections.

ATTORNEY GENERAL John Eastman--qualified, conservative, a proven leader. The other candidates either want to "tweak" Three Strikes or have not shown any real leadership while in office to protect us from criminals, especially the illegal aliens

STATE CONTROLLER State Senator Tony Strickland He understands the State budget and why we are in trouble. He understands that you grow the economy by cutting government, not growing it.

STATE TREASURER State Senator Mimi Walters A citizen legislator, has been in the business world and knows you can not borrow and spend your way out of the bankruptcy of the State

SECRETARY OF STATE Damon Dunn We can not afford four more years of the corrupt Debra Bowen, who was elected with the strong support of ACORN--any wonder she has not ended the incorporation of the corrupt organization?

INSURANCE COMMISSIONER No recommendation. The leading GOP candidate was a decisive vote to raise taxes to an historical level--after promising not to raise taxes.

    SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION
DIANNE LENNING All the candidates are good. Dianne has been an education leaders, statewide, for years, has the best understanding of the needs of students from San Diego to Del Norte. She is the only candidates that has been fighting union corruption for more than twenty years

BOARD OF EQUALIZATION There are two seats up

1.Los Angeles to San Diego District MICHELLE STEEL In her four years on the Board she has shown leadership in protecting the families and businesses of California from government.

    2. From Ventura County, through the Central Valley, Sacramento, to the Oregon border. STATE SENATOR GEORGE RUNNER. Has show by his leadership in Sacramento to be a friend of the taxpayer. Runner has been a leader in controlling of crime and the expansion of government.
