  • Kurth Says "sorry" about domestic violence

Don Kurth is running as a Republican for the Assembly from the 63rd Assembly District, the San Bernardino County area.

Last year Mayor Don Kurth of Rancho Cucamonga voted FIVE times to raise taxes--sounds like Arnold. Is this the type of person you want representing the Republican Party?

A few years ago Councilman Don Kurth of Rancho Cucamonga voted to provide a job center, at tax payer expense, for illegal aliens. Sounds like San Fran Nan and Barbara Boxer. Is this the type of person you want representing the Republican Party?

Candidate Kurth openly admits previous drug use and incarceration--we do believe people can change.

But, then we find this out, when Kurth was over 40 years old:

"Don Kurth, running as a conservative Republican refuses to deny a documented report accusing him of domestic violence against a romantic partner. The startling accusation was made in a sworn affidavit read to the Rancho Cucamonga City Council by the alleged victims 15-year-old daughter.

The girl presented her affidavit on September 15, 2004 in front of then-Councilman Kurth and his four colleagues. Kurth refused to deny the allegation, but did say he was sorry in response to the girls accusations."

    Sorry does not cut it.

Here is what the victim informed me by email, that she reported him to the medical board and filed a sexual battery complaint with the Sheriffs Department.

At a minimum, Kurth should give a public apology to the lady and the public.

This is serious. The Democrats already know this, will use this against him, and all other GOP nominees--they will be asked if they support him and his actions.

(I should note that I asked Don Kurth, for several days, for his comments, and he has refused to respond. Today I received an email from his campaign manager, Chris Jones, he wrote, in part, “It’s still a sleazy personal attack. Not to mention it’s an old story. Been on the news. Kurth has been elected since. &ldquo Where is the sleaze? Noticing the votes to increase taxes, the assistance to illegal aliens or the domestic violence?

Bottom line question, is this the type of person you want representing the Republican Party? Look at his full record--then decide.
