Have California government schools gone off the deep end? Are they now openly opposing the Rule of Law and Constitutional government? Remember last week the Morgan Hill school district sent students home who were wearing the American flag, but applauded students wearing Mexican flags. Worse, the Principal believed it would cause a riot if those wearing Mexican flags saw students wearing American flags--it was the American flag wearers who were punished--in a California school.
Now we have this: "Tracy Hathaway, of Salinas, CA, told FOX News Radio her 13-year-old daughter was ordered to stop drawing the American flag and start another project at Gavilan View Middle School.
She had drawn the flag and was sketching the letters, God bless America, when the teacher confronted her, Hathaway told FOX. She said, You cant draw that thats offensive.
Even more striking, another student in the same art class drew a picture of President Obama and was praised by the teacher.
The picture of Barack Obama was in red, white and blue hues, Hathaway said. The teacher said it was great. But when it comes to the flag all of a sudden it was offensive?
Students painting Obama pictures are applauded and those painting American flags are punished.
Any wonder government schools are failures--they have become headquarters for anti-American propaganda and radical political values. Is this what we pay tax for? Is this what we expect from unionized teachers?
How many more of these “incidents" before Americans demand an end to the government monopoly over education?
What are you going to do about this? Pass this on, let others know that many government schools act more like ACORN than an educational facility.
Oh, why isn't the fringe media, like the Mercury news, Chronicle or the Bee reporting on this. Why are they still protecting radical government "educators"?
