The law is on the side of the Boy Scouts. "For most of their 100-year history, the Boy Scouts of America have been politically untouchable, a byword for unselfishness and helping old folks across the street. That was before they went to court over their right to exclude gays and atheists.
The scouts won the legal battle in 2000 when the U.S. Supreme Court said they were constitutionally entitled to associate with whomever they chose. Since then, their cloak of invincibility has become a bit frayed, at least in California."
The Democrats are on the side of radicals and Leftists. "According to the committee staff, it was the eighth time since 2000 that a resolution praising the Boy Scouts had been defeated in the Assembly, which also passed two such measures -- both of which saluted the scouts' achievements but urged them to change their membership policies.
For good measure, the Judiciary Committee and the full Assembly passed a Democratic-sponsored resolution praising the Girl Scouts on their 98th anniversary, and citing their policy of admitting all girls regardless of religion or sexual orientation."
Sexism. Pure and simple. Anti-patriotism--Democrats do not like this country. Hedonistic, instead of value oriented--prefer the anything goes attitude, than moral values.
The Democrat Party is as morally bankrupt as California is fiscally bankrupt. The real question is whether the families of California even care?
