Thanks a rare court victory, the Governor will have $2 billion more to waste--not to save, pare down debt or deficit--but use to waste on union/special interests.
"In a 26-page ruling issued Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Lloyd Connelly ruled the state was within its rights to shift the funds last year. The maneuver allowed the state to save more than $1.7 billion in the current budget year and $350 million in the 2010-11 budget year."
This is money that belongs to cities and counties--this makes their budgets $2 billion worse--more cuts thanks to the Governor!
