A citizen of Sweden, is convicted of two murders, including that of a cop. To avoid the death penalty, she pleads guilty and gets life imprisonment. She gets transferred to a prison in Sweden. Now she is about to be released.
"Denham cited the case of Annika Ostberg Deasy, who was sentenced in 1983 to life in prison for two brutal murders. But she was eventually transferred to a prison in her home country of Sweden. Swedish officials announced they will release her next year. To avoid the death penalty, Deasy pleaded guilty to two first degree murders, including the murder of a Lake County sheriffs sergeant."
Again a Democrat comes to the defense of a criminal. Democrat State Senator Mark Leno led the battle to kill the bill that would stop this from happening again.
Why is it that Democrats prefer to defend criminals, and then protect cops and the public?
