Another flawed article by the fringe media.
"The study by the University of Pennsylvania, published today in the policy journal Health Services Research, compared deaths from common surgeries in California in 2006, two years after the law was enacted, to surgical deaths in Pennsylvania and New Jersey."
If they wanted a real comparison, they would have used different years.
Without comparing the death rate in NJ, PA and CA prior to 2004 to the most current figures, this news story is statistically irrelevant and misleading. To headline with "found to save lives" is a lie.
This is why I do the California Political News and Views--the media lies and the government provides the information.
