California government has decided that you can not work at a Los Angeles Port unless you pay a bribe to a union. Imagine, government in collusion with a criminal organization to force you to pay kickbacks!.
"But the Wangs believe their dream may vanish if a federal judge allows the Port of Los Angeles to move ahead with a provision of its disputed Clean Trucks Program that requires trucking companies to drop independent owner-operator drivers and hire employee drivers.
"It's been a fun ride participating in the program, but there's another agenda here," said Joseph Wang, who recently took over for his father as general manager of Overseas Freight in Long Beach.
"The port should not be able to dictate who drives my trucks," Wang said. "We follow the rules by buying these cleaner trucks, but we do not want to be thrown into a business model that will destroy us."
Government has become a criminal conspiracy against honest citizens. Looks like Capone is alive and well, in Sacramento. Now the criminal owns government--makes crime easier.
