First off this is not about law enforcement--this is about the unions that OWN law enforcement--pay a bribe or you do not work.
"The Riverside Sheriffs' Association, the union that represents some 3,500 Riverside County deputies, must not be reading the same tea leaves as the rest of us.
At a time when even the most union-friendly politicians are awakening to the looming presence of the public pension iceberg off the port bow, the deputies union has turned in signatures to put a measure on the fall ballot that would ask voters to protect their budget-busting sweet deals."
This ballot measure will lose and lose big. The union will claim the public hates the Deputy Sheriffs--in fact, the public is tired of being extorted by unions.
